This selection of Dominican Binder Tobacco is one of the most widely used and popular cigar binders in the tobacco industry.  Grown in the Dominican, it is known for it’s superior quality and affordable price (and it’s local to most factories.)

Just like all other binder grade tobacco leaves, these leaves are not flawless but are perfect for cigar binder use.  Make sure you consider adding our Dominican Ligero and Dominican seco long filler to your blend!

  • Our Dominican Binder tobacco will vary in color but is primarily a darker leaf with a smooth to medium strength when smoked.
  • These leaves are thinner and more delicate than the CT binder leaves.
  • These leaves provide a smoother smoke with less veins, which make rolling easier.
  • Has the distinct taste & smell expected of Dominican tobacco.  If you love Dominican fillers, or have an interest in rolling a 100% ‘Puro’ cigar, this leaf along with our Dominican fillers will help you do just that.
  • Even though we classify this as binder grade, you will find wrapper grade leaves in the mix!
  • Be sure to try leaves that are similar or blend well with the Dominican Binder: Dominican Ligero Piloto Cubano – Dominican Volado Piloto Cubano – Dominican Seco Piloto Cubano
